I am managing director but also have overall responsibility for client services.

Describe a typical day

Without wanting to sound corny, my job involves a lot of 'ship steering' - overseeing our on-going projects, ensuring we're delivering what we've promised, as well as keeping an eye on the finances. I also get involved with strategic planning on clients' accounts and recruiting new business. Cold calling is a great way of keeping your feet on the ground!

What's the best piece of advice you could give to someone reading this profile?

When you have an idea to do something, do it. You will rarely regret going ahead; on the other hand you will often be tormented by what might have been.
